How can I reserve the villa?
Our villas are listed on VRBO and Airbnb. However, by booking directly with us, you can avoid theadditional fees charged by these platforms. To make a reservation, please contact us through thecontact form or by email (simon@casaazulprofundo.com / info@casaazulprofundo.com). Whencontacting us, please include your desired dates and the number of rooms you wish to book. We willprepare a contract, and to confirm the booking, we require a 50% deposit of the total amount, with theremaining 50% due 90 days before your arrival at the villa. Other arrangements can also be made ifnecessary.
What is included in the villa rental?
The rental includes a full-service team: chef, waiter, bartender, and daily housekeeping, as well as thepreparation of two meals per day (breakfast and dinner) and pre-stocking services for food and drinksbefore arrival. Guests are responsible for the cost of food and beverages, which are purchased accordingto their preferences (receipts are provided for each purchase), as well as a small daily fee for the groceryshopping service.
What is the minimum number of nights to rent any of the villas?
Generally, the minimum is 5 nights year-round (except during holidays, when a 7-night minimum isrequired). Depending on the requested dates and their proximity, exceptions may be made.
Are there additional fees for booking through the VRBO - Airbnb platforms?
Our prices are subject to the platform fees if you decide to confirm the booking through VRBO orAirbnb. We offer direct rentals with no extra fees. However, when reservations are made through theplatforms, we cannot remove their fees, as they are automatically added.
How are the house rates structured?
The rates are based on the number of bedrooms, with a maximum of 2 people per bedroom. Forexample, for 16 guests, the rate applies for 8 bedrooms. Each additional couple or bedroom incurs anextra charge of USD 220 per night.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
Is early check-in or late check-out possible?
If there are early flights on the arrival day or late flights on the departure day, and an early check-in orlate check-out is desired, it is necessary to request it directly to confirm availability, as this is not alwayspossible. Unless previously agreed with the villa, the standard check-in time (starting at 3 PM) andcheck-out time (11 AM) will apply.
Once the reservation is confirmed, can the number of rooms reserved be increased?
Yes, it is recommended to initially reserve the minimum number of rooms that will definitely be needed,as it is possible to increase the number of rooms later. If availability allows, renting the neighboring villascan also be considered, provided the required room minimums are met.
Can the number of rooms reserved be reduced once the reservation is confirmed?
No, it is not possible to reduce the number of rooms originally reserved. Therefore, it is advised toreserve the minimum number of rooms that will definitely be needed.Since these are private villas for large groups, reservations are accepted based on the initial numbers, asunused rooms cannot be allocated to other groups.
If I don't rent the entire villa, will I have to share it with other people?
No, each villa is private, and we only rent to one group at a time per villa. Even if you don't rent the
entire villa, your group will be the only one staying at the house you booked (the unused bedrooms will
remain closed).
Where can the availability of dates be checked?
To check the availability of dates, it is necessary to contact us directly. All online calendars are only forreservations made through specific platforms. The official reservation calendar is with us, where allcalendars are synced together.
How many staff members are included in the villa rental?
The villa rental includes a team of 3 to 5 staff members, depending on the number of guests and nightsbooked. The exact details regarding the number of staff members will be specified in the rental contract.
Is the cost of food and drinks included in the price?
No, the cost of food and drinks is not included in the price. Generally, groups spend around USD 25 toUSD 30 per guest per day, which includes 2 meals and light drinks (water, sodas, juice). Liquor is notincluded in this estimate. This amount can easily increase depending on the quantity and quality ofliquor. A daily grocery amount cannot be guaranteed, as it varies between groups. Besides the cost offood and drinks, there is a daily fee for the grocery shopping service, which includes one daily trip to thestore to purchase food, drinks, fruits, vegetables, fish, meats, etc. If an additional order is made andanother delivery service is required, an additional charge will apply.
Can the villa staff do the shopping for us once we are at the villa?
The villa staff does not handle the shopping directly, but we have external personnel who take care of itbefore arrival and during the stay. This is done to keep the food fresh, and shopping is carried out whileguests are at the villa.
How is the security in the area?
The villa is located in a small private passage, down from the road, in a very quiet neighborhood. Wehave a security guard in collaboration with our neighbors to ensure that guests feel more comfortable.
How far is the villa from the beach?
The villa is located 5-10 minutes walking distance from Mismaloya Beach, one of the best beaches in
Vallarta.
How far is the villa from the airport and downtown?
The villa is approximately 35-45 minutes from the airport, depending on traffic (20 km - 12 miles), andabout 10-15 minutes from downtown (10 km - 6 miles).
Does the house have parking?
Yes, the house has parking for at least 5 cars, with the possibility of parking additional ones in a row.​​​​​
Does the house include transportation service?
No. However, we work with an external private transportation company that can provide trips, uponrequest and quotation (including transfers to and from the airport).
What is the capacity of the villa?
Azul Profundo I accommodates up to 32 people, sleeping in 15 rooms (16 king beds).
Azul Profundo II accommodates up to 28 guests, sleeping in 12 rooms (14 king beds)
Azul Profundo III accommodates up to 12-14 guests, sleeping in 5 rooms.
Young children are allowed to share a bed/room with their parents. For events, the villa can host more
than 100 guests.
Can I host my wedding at Casa Azul Profundo I?
Yes. Weddings and events of all kinds are frequently held at the villa. Weddings with over 100 guests can
be hosted. The event cost depends on the number of guests, event duration, and other factors.
Discounts are also available based on the number of nights booked at the villa. We recommend checking
the "Weddings" section for more details.
Is assistance provided for wedding preparation?
Yes. Assistance can be provided with event details and preparation, a wedding coordinator can be
recommended, or the client may bring their own event coordinator to manage the event. No additional
charges apply for assistance with event preparation.
Can assistance be provided to organize other activities during the stay in the city?
Yes. Concierge services are provided, and assistance can be offered in planning all the activities you havein mind, including transportation to/from the airport, zip-lining, ATVs, boat tours, snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, and more. Simply let us know which activities interest you and the number ofpeople, so we can send you the available information.
Can the house chef prepare dinner for an event?
Yes, depending on the number of guests, dinner can be arranged. It must be discussed in advance toconfirm the details. Please note that the service will be provided as with the other meals in the villa,without special utensils for weddings or events; regular furniture and utensils will be used.
